Today's blog November 4,2009

This class is much more exciting--and less intimidating--than I thought it would be. Perhaps I'll actually use Skype to call my son in Australia or my grandbaby in Pennsylvania (even a ten month old call gurgle). I wonder if my students will enjoy posting their descriptive essays for comments from their peers?

    I love skype. It's the only way I see my nephew and niece in Portland, OR.

    I think if students knew that their peers were going to be commenting on their work publicly, they might be inclined to work a little harder on their stuff, don't you?
